On May 26th, 2026, the Kid LAROI took over the infamous Marathon Music Works in Nashville, Tennessee. Known for his singing, rapping, and songwriting skills in blending hip-hop, emo, and pop music, the Kid LAROI brought so many different elements to his performance on his Nashville stop on the A Perfect World Tour. As the house music was lowered, the stage lights dimmed, and fog filled the venue, the Kid LAROI’s DJ came out on stage while the track “ME+YOU” started playing. The crowd immediately erupted in the loudest roar of excitement. As the Kid LAROI slowly walked to the center of the stage and started singing, it was like the whole crowd replaced his vocals with their own, belting out every lyric word for word. The love and passion for the Kid LAROI and his music filled Marathon Music Works more than any artist that has walked up on that stage.
The Kid LAROI’s performance was staged in three different parts and the story telling of each song choice with each section of the stage was unmatched. His multi-cam setup allowed for different perspectives throughout each song and his team used up every screen in Marathon Music Works as well as bringing and using their own screens. The use of multiple cameras really brought the production up a level from his past tours and allowed for the crowd to feel the emotions appropriately with each song in the setlist. Songs like “RATHER BE,” “PIECES,” and “Diva” hyped up the crowd to no avail pushing audio levels to the max with its atmospheric, dance-oriented rhythms while songs like “MAYBE I’M WRONG,” “QUIT YOU,” and “PRIVATE” showcased the Kid LAROI’s vocal range and strength featuring emotional and melodic pop, rap, and trap beats. Songs like these really let the audience take a pause from the high energy concert to soak in the Kid LAROI’s raw vocal talents. The Kid LAROI’s use of impactful lyrics incorporated with upbeat energetic rhythms and melodies was showcased purely on Marathon Music Works’ stage and the fact that he is just one soul up on that stage confirms that he is truly a star that blends multiple genres within themselves.
