Camille Parker brought grace and soul with her voice to the Spotlight Stage at CMA Fest. Being influenced by some of country music’s most iconic female artists such as Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt, and Kacey Musgraves. This North Carolinian originally sought to be an R&B artist but then switched to country music after falling in love with the genre and being inspired by its artists. She developed her love of music at a young age, being inspired by jazz music and her grandfather’s trumpet playing.

Known as the “Elvis of Country Music” Drake Milligan rocked the Riverfront Stage for his 2nd CMA Fest. Fittingly, Milligan opened with Elvis Presley’s “Blue Suede Shoes” before moving into hit singles “Sounds Like Something I’d Do” and “Kiss Goodbye All Night” from his debut album, “Dallas/Fort Worth”. With a classic country sound, electrifying dances moves, and a genuine friendship amongst his band, Drake Milligan put on an unforgettable set.

The ethereal Carter Faith has gained lots of traction in the Nashville music scene, and the audience at CMA Feat’s Vibes stage got a taste of her music and style on Saturday. From graduating from Belmont University in 2021 to performing at iconic Nashville venues such as The Grand Ole Opry and Ryman Auditorium, Faith has climbed the country music ladder, even signing a record deal with Universal Music Publishing Group. Her music has gained millions of streams, and her audience at the festival were enraptured by her stunning voice and stunning stage presence.

Owen Riegling knew how to get the party started at the CMA Fest Reverb Stage. Singing down to earth music about growing up in a small town and living the country lifestyle, Riegling engaged the audience like no other. Riegling especially captured their attention by recognizing specific fans in the crowd and throwing out t-shirts with the name “Dan” on them in honor of a man from his small hometown who inspired his catchy tune about working hard entitled “Dan”.

Bringing a fervent crowd to the Riverfront stage, Lily Rose’s performance was nothing short of intoxicating. Opening with “Even After Everything” the singer songwriter had the the audience dancing and grasping onto her every word. Full of insights on life, love, and religion found in hit songs like “True North” and “Back to You” Lily Rose found ways to express every part of herself during her CMA set. Feeding off the crowd’s tangible energy Lily Rose announced a new tradition. Starting this year and continuing on. she’ll be releasing a new song every year during her CMA set.

Alexandra Kay filled up the Amp Stage on Saturday, June 8th of CMA Fest. With die-hard fans screaming her initials “AK” minutes before Kay was even announced, it’s no wonder why Kay was named a modern Dolly Parton. Her opening song, “Backroad Therapy”, instantly got the crowd singing along and relating to those breakups we so desperately want to forget about.

Tyler Booth brought the heat to CMA Fest’s Hard Rock stage with his incredible stage presence and powerful music. Fans were enraptured by his set, and Booth fed into the audience by tossing out snacks and koozies during each song, climbing over the barricade to meet people and shake hands, taking pictures with every single person after his performance, and even signing a guitar for one fan in the crowd. You can tell how much country music and performing for people means to this 27-year-old artist, and he brings a revitalizing attitude and energy into the country music world.

With a voice of gold and beautifully written songs, Ashley Anne shared her country music talents with the Hard Rock Stage at CMA Fest. Performing songs like “she ain’t texas” and “dear dolly”, the audience soaked up her voice with several audience members singing along to every word. This 20-year-old from Belmont University is rising rapidly in Nashville’s music scene and is very promising for becoming an incredible fixture of the country music community.
