The Story So Far brought the house down at Nevermore Hall to kick off their tour, with some pit stops at multiple Warped Tour locations and other festivals. The Story So Far Does. Not. Miss. I was fortunate enough to get to the venue early and stand at the barricade all night and watch the energy of the room get rowdy from start to end. With heavy moshing, crowd surfing, and LOTS of finger pointing, it’s easy to understand how the energy of this band becomes addictive. They played a hefty setlist, many including tracks from their 2024 album “I want to Disappear,” including “Big Blind” and “White Shores,” and played many songs off of their previous albums with classics such as “Roam”, “Empty Space”, ”Things I Can’t Change”, “Solo,” and even coming back on to do an encore with “Nerve” from their self-titled. The Story So Far always knows how to put on a show.
Band members Parker Cannon (vox), Will Levy (guitar), Kevin Geyer (guitar), and Ryan Torf (drums/ guitar), with support from their touring members Nik Bruzzese (bass and backing vox) and Ross Traver (drums), are electric on tour and are consistent in their performance. This was my second time seeing them this year, and they get better and better every time while continuing to have a packed house every time, and it’s easy to see why. I’m excited to see The Story So Far rise to new heights and see them continue to grow.
