Nashville Pride was electrified when the iconic lover girl of both Nashville’s queer community and flourishing pop music industry took the stage. Molly Grace stuns another incredible performance after a month of traveling across the country on her Lovergirls: A Sapphic Soirée summer tour. Landing in Nashville amongst familiar faces, Molly was reunited with fans and friends who have had the privilege of following the pop star since her beginnings in her music career. Molly graced us with a wide variety of incredible songs from her debut album Blush released last year, older hits such as a mashup of her songs “Lover (Love Her)” and “Lady Lady”, and a fabulous rendition of “Lady Marmalade”.
Molly tore up Nashville Pride’s Equality Stage all the while flanked by her incredible “Lovergirls” with iconic choreography and stunning vocals as well as her all-female band and production crew. There was no better audience suited for Molly Grace’s music than the crowd at Nashville Pride, and hearing both old and new fans alike sing back her lyrics celebrating queer expression and the beauty of femininity from throughout her discography was an unforgettable experience. Molly’s ability to connect with her audience is masterful with the way she not only sees and sings with her crowd, but is able to connect and simultaneously celebrate the beauty of individuality as well as the strength of community with them throughout her performance. Nashville is certainly proud of Molly Grace and all she does with her incredible talent, and we cannot wait until she graces our city again.
