Monday night was a perfect summer night in Nashville for Winnetka Bowling League to take the stage at Exit/In with a striking performance that kept the crowd mesmerized with their infectious beats and captivating lyrics. Fresh off of the buzz of their new album, Sha La La, released at the end of May, the excitement for their tour ‘Tourgasm’ grew quickly as the listeners were eager to hear some of their favorites off of the album live. Luckily for Nashville, the eagerly awaited night came quickly. Leading up to the long awaited performance of Winnetka Bowling League, openers Darryl Rahn and Akira Galaxy took the stage to get the crowd warmed up. Each of the openers left the audience in awe and amped up for the highly anticipated performance of what was yet to come.
As the band launched into their set, the air was filled with excitement and the room was pulsating to the beat of their music. Each song seemed to draw the crowd in and brought them deeper into their music and lyrics. With a mix of an intimate acoustic performance and energetic anthems that had everyone on their feet and dancing, their setlist was carefully crafted to create a show that would be remembered by each person in the room. They even surprised the audience with guest performer, Medium Build, for their collaboration, “This Is Life.” As the venue buzzed with energy and bubbles, lead singer Matthew Koma's vocals soared through the venue. The band's performance became a memorable blend of great music and genuine connection, leaving everyone who attended the show with a newfound appreciation for Winnetka Bowling League's unique sound.
