Kicking off her 2026 Pretty Idea tour in Nashville, Tennessee, Amber Mark transported Brooklyn Bowl back to the 70s. Mark exuded confidence and utter chicness during her performance, absolutely captivating her audience. With a 26-song setlist, the night turned into a modern-day disco fantasy. Mark created a funky, soulful atmosphere that was somewhat nostalgic right from the start with her song “Let Me Love You,” off her most recent album, Pretty Idea (2025). The night felt like an intimate dance party at an underground club in New York City. Although, Mark was not afraid to slow the pace with a few reflective songs. She performed “Monsoon” off her 2017 debut album 3:33am, which she deemed to be the “most meaningful song [she] has ever written.”
Common themes found in her songs include self-discovery, heartbreak, and healing. Mark doesn’t tell stories in her songs but rather relives the moments they are based on, and “Monsoon” is a great example of this. She quickly brought her audience back to a clubbing environment with hits such as “Worth It” and “Won’t Cry.” To keep the momentum going, she even sang a cover of Madonna’s 1990 hit “Vogue,” which was a lovely surprise for the audience. Mark looked like she could dance the night away, with one fan summing up her performance best: “She looked like a queen and sang like a goddess.” Mark brought a confidence to the Brooklyn Bowl stage that was undeniably contagious and only proved that she is meant to be a star.
